E-Summit is IIT Roorkee's flagship entrepreneurship festival, and the reason we travel for it is simple: finance taught in a lecture hall and finance watched being argued over by founders and investors are two different subjects.
Our members spent the visit moving between pitch sessions, product showcases and speaker tracks — watching how an idea gets valued, questioned and funded in the same afternoon. For most of the group it was the first time seeing a term sheet discussed by people who actually sign them.
